On Saturday morning, my sweet friend Johanna agreed to snap a few photos of me... I had envisioned a gray, overcast day, and we were given about as clear and sunny a morning you could get... but some of these turned out lovely. (of course, later on, as we were sipping drinks at Starbucks, the clouds rolled in and the weather I had envisioned appeared. That's Ohio for you.)
Thank you Johanna!
Enjoying my morning coffee. Because that's a thing. More to come... if you want to stare at photos of me. Its kind of weird, I know... but then again, not really.

So- most people that
know me know that I'm not... a KID person. I love children- especially my niece and nephew. Kids are cute. But I'm not one of the those people who will chase down a mom with a baby so she can randomly cuddle. Or someone who would rather interact and roll around on the floor with the little ones than interact with adults.
But this past week we spent four days at an English preschool in Narimasu, Japan... and the little ones there stole little pieces of my heart! It was so amazing to get to spend several days with them- to play and cuddle and console (some of them had a hard time letting go of momma). I was especially thankful to the school for wanting to USE my art, and my love of photography, so I was able to capture some really great photos of the kids.

So- I have a ton of photos on my computer- just remembering that I need to post them! These are a bunch I took for some promotional materials for my YWAM trip. A tripod, remote and a flowering shrub= lots of selfies.

My best friend and her husband are expecting... soon. So we took a few photos to capture these moments before little Lily joins the family... (they have the nursery fixed up so cute!) I love these two and can't wait to hold Lily!
