My best friend/sister graduated from UD this past weekend- it was a crazy weekend of cleaning and getting ready for a smallish party at my parents, attending the ceremony and hanging out with friends and family... hence, why I'm posting a 'She Wore it on the Weekend' post on Wednesday. The only photos I managed to get of my outfits were snapped at the ceremony and the party with my sister. So you get both of us!

I'm wearing: Dress- Goodwill/ Earrings- Forever21 and bare feet. (this was my second outfit of the day- I changed out of my dressier one from the ceremony)

Seriously, so stinking proud of my sister (she graduated Magna Cum Laude!) and excited for her to start this next chapter in her life (although, if she moves out of the country, I'm gonna miss her!)

So, I definitely dropped the ball this weekend. With working and it being colder than I expected, outfits were... blah. So, here's a little Wednesday outfit instead. Wore this to go putt-putt with some lovely lady friends...

Teal dress- Target/silk scarf- Goodwill/ Feather earrings- gift

I wouldn't normally do a teal dress and earrings, generally, its too matchy-matchy for my tastes, but I liked this. Plus, I added the orange scarf, which was a great pop of color.

And then I made crazy faces at the camera while I tried to photograph a detail shot of my earrings and milkmaid braids...

I added a little color into my hair... its not quite done yet, but I like it

After a long weekend of hanging with the high school students and hiking in 43 degree weather (which, albeit, was cold, but awesome) I had a Sunday to chill- figures I spend most of the day sleeping/groggy in my room, partly recovering from the weekend, and partly because of a lack of anyone to do anything with. Thankfully, a friend sent me a text asking if I wanted to go see The Hunger Games (for the second time) with her- yes. I was about to go by myself.

I wore and outfit of items I've had for ages, but threw on a striped headband and my pleather coat for a bit of warmth/pulled togetherness.

ps- The movie was just as good the second time... I caught a few things I missed the first go-around.... and now I'm super anxious to see Catching Fire made into a movie- I feel like the storyline will lend itself even better to the big screen.....

Its so wonderful to be wearing a dress with bare legs! Love it. I even love my pale, white legs. Embracing it.
