Just some snaps from a pretty spring day...
Our group was on the hunt for
Taiyaki, (not me, I've tried bean paste and I'm not a fan!) and apparently the shop here is famous.
Our favorite place to shop has definitely been the 100 Yen Shops.... (dollar store! yay!)

Last week three of us took on the adventure of traveling the trains on our own and making the trip to Harajuku. It was fun to look around and do some shopping, especially to find some great second-hand shops. I had planned on purchasing most of the souvenirs or gifts that I needed to still get, but I was a bit overwhelmed by the crowds of people and how crowded everything was. I only managed to get a couple things... and a sweater from H&M.

The Saturday before we left for Japan in February, the entire YWAM base headed to the Sunny Coast, (Lake Currimundi) for a beach day. Unfortunately, it was drizzly, windy and a bit chilly, but we still had a good time. And it was fun to see the Sunny Coast, as I had yet to have been out there.
